Sunday I moved up one pew until I finally rested on the third pew. We attended Sunday School each week and our daughter became involved in the children’s choir. On Sunday, March 4, 1984, it seemed as if I was catapulted to the altar, and I was on my knees. The only thing that I remembered was that I was in the Spirit and when I woke up, I was speaking in tongues and then I remembered the dream from the previous night.
On Saturday, March 3, 1984, I had a dream of a woman wearing a cream blouse and a black/white checkered skirt with pockets kneeling at the altar. I can recall that in the dream, I was attempting to see the face of the person at the altar, but no matter which angle I attempted to see the person, I could not see the face. In the dream I was wearing the outfit that I wore to church the next day. Hindsight is 20/20 because although I was dreaming, God did not allow me to discern that I was seeing myself.
